为了更好地推动中外教师和管理人员的专业成长,自2021年起,协和教育与曼彻斯特大学中国中心进行了深入洽谈,探讨双方在人才战略上的合作。

Xiehe Education has consistently devoted itself to strengthening the core competitiveness and focusing on the multifaceted professional development of both Chinese and expat teachers and administrators. We have launched a series of initiatives, including the “Stars Project” and “Qinglan Program” organized by the Xiehe Center for mid-level managers and key teachers. Additionally, we conduct annual cross-campus teachers professional development days in each season (spring, summer, and autumn) for all teachers, as well as cross-campus thematic subject research activities tailored for teachers in certain subjects. Furthermore, we collaborate on training programmes with outstanding educational resources both domestically and internationally. Examples include the “International Teacher Graduate Certificate (PGCE) Program” in collaboration with the University of Warwick, Nottingham University, and the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom, as well as the “IBDP International Teacher Program” in partnership with East China Normal University.

To enhance the professional development of both Chinese and expat teachers and administrators, since 2021, Xiehe Education has engaged in in-depth discussions with The University of Manchester China Centre to explore collaboration in talent strategy.

2021年9月,协和跨校区大学升学指导团参访曼大中国中心。

In September 2021, Xiehe cross-campus counselors of university guidance (CUG) team visited UoM China Centre.

2021年9月,协和教育中心总校长卢慧文女士受邀为曼大教育领导力实践在职硕士课程学员做了《中西教育融合的当下思考》主题报告。

2021年10月,协和教育中心与英国曼彻斯特大学国际教育集团签署了人才合作项目备忘录,双方达成互惠互利的合作伙伴关系。该合作的确立为协和教育的员工提供英国曼彻斯特国际教育各类课程优先和快速的申请通道和录取程序,并享受曼大中国中心的在职课程的优惠折扣。

2022年2月,协和教育四名员工成功被英国曼彻斯特大学录取,开始参与该校的“教育领导力实践在职硕士课程”学习。

In September 2021, Ms. Maxine Lu, General Principal of Xiehe Education, was invited to share her insights of the integration of Eastern and Western Education for students enrolled in the Educational Leadership in Practice (ELiP) master’s course.

In October 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding between the UoM China Centre and Xiehe Education was signed, to provide solutions for the development of management talents in Xiehe. The establishment of the partnership provides staff of Xiehe Education with priority and expedited application channels for various courses in the UoM, along with streamlined admission procedures. Additionally, they are entitled to preferential discounts for in-service courses offered by the UoM China Centre.

In February 2022, 4 staff of Xiehe Education were offered with the placement by the UoM and commenced their studies in the ELiP master’s course.

2023年1月,上海青浦区协和双语学校校长助理、曼彻斯特大学教育领导力实践在职硕士课程在读学员刘桂香女士应邀参加由曼彻斯特大学中国中心组织的圆桌论坛,就“教育领导力在国际教育行业中的实践”主题进行分享。

In January 2023, Ms. Helen Liu, Assistant Principal of SUIS Qingpu and a current student of ELip course, participated in a panel discussion organized by the UoM China Centre. She shared her insights on “the Practice of Educational Leadership in International Education”.

2023年3月,在曼大中国教育者俱乐部成立仪式上,协和教育的曼大课程在读学员被授予“曼大协和-人才发展奖学金”证书。

In March 2023, during the inauguration ceremony of the UoM China Educator Club, certificates for the UoM-Xiehe Talent Development Scholarship were awarded to ELiP students from Xiehe Education.

2023年9月,英国曼彻斯特大学教育学院学术团队一行在曼大中国中心主任傅潇霄的带领下参访上海青浦区协和双语学校。曼彻斯特大学跨国教育学术负责人Alex McTaggart博士、曼大教育领导力实践在职硕士项目课程主任Paul Armstrong博士、项目副主任Stephen Rayner博士,与协和青浦校区中外联合校长黄莹女士及Adam Neufield博士进行了深入的会谈交流。

In September 2023, Ms. Sherry Fu, Director of The UoM China Centre, led an academic delegation from the Manchester Institute of Education to visit SUIS Qingpu. The delegation, including Dr. Alex McTaggart, Academic Head of Transnational Education at the University of Manchester; Dr. Paul Armstrong, Director of the Educational Leadership in Practice (ELiP) master’s course; and Dr. Stephen Rayner, Deputy Director of the course, engaged in productive discussion with Ms. Sunny Huang and Dr. Adam Neufield, the Co-Principals of SUIS Qingpu.

MA Educational Leadership in Practice

为了惠及更多来自不同国家和地区的教育从业者及管理者,曼彻斯特大学教育学院推出了教育领导力实践在职硕士学位课程,采用高度灵活的授课模式,通过线上授课+线下学术研讨会相结合的形式,旨在培养具备国际视野的教育管理者和有远见的行业领军人。2021年9月,该课程荣获曼彻斯特大学2020/21年度人文学院杰出教学及学生体验系列奖项中的最佳课程奖。去年7月,课程再度获得大学2023年度卓越教学奖。

To benefit education administrators and future leaders from different countries and regions, the University of Manchester China Centre has brought the part-time MA Educational Leadership in Practice (ELiP) course to Asia. In Sept. 2021, the MA ELiP course has been awarded as the Programme of the Year 2020/21 in The Outstanding Staff Awards for Teaching, Learning and Student Experience run by the Faculty of Humanities, The University of Manchester. Last July, the core team of the course has been awarded the University’s Teaching Excellence Awards 2023.
