趁着改革开放的春风，伴随着社会主义市场经济体制的确立、教育体制改革的深化以及政府对民办教育的大力支持，1993 年底，协和运用市场机制举办了第一家民办学前机构——天地幼儿园，拉开了协和办学的大幕。
Along with the reform and opening-up, the socialist market economy has been stimulated in China. A lot of measures have been taken to deepen educational reform by promoting non-government education. Against this backdrop, by the end of 1993, the Xiehe Education opened its first non-government early years school, the Tian Di Kindergarten. The curtained had opened on the first act of Xiehe’s unfolding drama.
