The kindergarten’s daily schedule has 4 main parts: life skills, play/role play, physical activities, and learning activities. There are celebrations、mixed age activities、Field trip and other weekend activities every week. In school, there are various Chinese and Western cultural activities held each semester. These include, but are not limited to: Family Sports Day, Seasonal Concert, Chinese Traditional Family Day, Language Arts Festival, Multicultural month, etc. Teachers, children and parents engage in different educational activities to help enrich the theme based learning as well as give students the opportunity to learn about different cultural perspectives as well as traditional Chinese activities. These activities are also an important opportunity to cultivate children’s language ability, cross-cultural communication, and allow students to feel excited, independent and allow them to engage in nurturing interactions.
